'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League homecoming

Kane celebrates his hundredth goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has stated that his enthusiasm in returning to the Premier League has faded and he is willing to negotiate a new deal with Bayern Munich.

The star striker is presently two years through the four-year deal he agreed to when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the transfer window of 2023.

The experienced forward has netted an impressive 103 goals in 106 appearances for the German team, contributing them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which represented the maiden major trophy of his illustrious career.

Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has previously stated that he would welcome to see Kane go back to England, where he requires 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring milestone of 260.

However, the England skipper has now suggested that he is no longer as enthusiastic about returning home as he previously was, and would definitely think about lengthening his stay in Bavaria.

"In terms of staying longer, I could certainly see that," he stated.

"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be willing to talk and have an frank conversation.

"Obviously it depends on how the next year or so unfolds and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not focusing about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have realized in my career is that different options and different moments happen and things fall in place. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."

Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the historic top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and recently became the fastest player this century to reach 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five divisions, securing the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a honor had escaped him until he secured the German title last season.

Kane admits that he was not sure how he would feel after breaking his trophy barren spell, but now feels it has made him eager for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.

"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.

"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
